What Is Coaching
Coaching and counseling are both geared towards helping people change behaviors and set and achieve goals, however, there are some key elements that differentiate the two.
COACHING VS COUNSELING
- Coaching focuses on setting and achieving goals in the present and future (not past)
- Coaching does not involve a mental health diagnosis
- Coaching is not covered by insurance/no licensing required
- In coaching, confidentiality is not protected by law
Coaching may be for you if… you are focused on reaching a specific goal in the present/future but feel stuck…if you are looking for motivation/best practices to more your vision/goals forward (can be fitness or business related)
